Rabbonim Cancel Miami Boys Choir Concert In Lakewood – Rest Of Event To Go On

A Miami Boys Choir concert which was set to take place this Chol Hamo’ed in Lakewood, was cancelled by Rabbonim TLS has learned. The concert was part of a larger show which was to take place in Lake Terrace, but Rabbonim cancelled it, possibly because there wasno indication that theĀ event provided separate seating for the concert, although that has not been confirmed.

The rest of the event – Uncle Moishy etc. – is expected to take place as planned. TLS-86/TLS-CCP.

  1. we were wondering why we did not get our tickets.

also maybe because they are perfroming wed night at brooklyn college

  2. Separate seating and family seating was offered. Are they issuing refunds or pro-rating the tickets that were already purchased?

  3. I checked and the shows are definitely still on. Both are this Wednesday Chol Hamoed at Lake Terrace, the first show at 1 pm and a repeat at 3 pm. The kids will love it, and it is a credit to Suki and Ding that they listened to Daas Torah in maintaining high standards for Lakewood.

  4. Why weren’t the people adjacent to Pine Park notified of the armed police vehicles with sirens on for more than 3 hours? It caused great concern as our safety in our yards and streets. Were dangerous people on the loose or what? We should have had the courtesy of being notified since it was only a carnival. I’ve been to many carnivals and never had anything close to this occur.

  5. I’m wondering why there are only two comments. It’s because TLS is exercising their right to limit free speech and is turning all the rest down.

  6. Rabbonim dod NOT cancel it. Rather they gave guidance and instructions, and Acheinu Bnei Yisroel did the right thing (although financially costly) and were mekabel and THEY cancelled it .

    Beautiful
