[AUDIO & LETTER] An exclusive handwritten letter posted on TLS last week was the topic of a speech given yesterday by Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss of Staten Island’s Agudas Yisroel. Rabbi Weiss, a popular Magis Shiur, spoke about the part of the one sentence letter whichmentions the fact that Leiby Kletzky’s murder was a calculation from a previous Gilgul.
“It’s an astounding letter”, says Rabbi Weiss. “When I saw this, at first, I was shocked”.
The letter reads as follows:
“It’s with much anguish that we heard about the tragedy which befell you, we don’t understand the calculation in it, and it is definitely a calculation from a previous ‘Gilgul’, may Hashem console you among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim and may you see Leiby again at T’chias Hameisim speedily”.
In the photos with Rav Kanievsky, is Bnei Brak’s Foreign Affairs Commissioner Eli Hoder, who faxed and read the letter to Leiby’s father, who broke down in tears upon seeing it.

very nice letter but this tradegy is every parents nighmare. I hope the TLS lets this go through- we all know what the bible says but the truth of the matter is you kill a child you should be put to death. We must make our laws mean something with the hopes this will lead to sanity in our country.
