PHOTOS: This morning, Chavrei Hakollel moved the newly donated Sefer Torah to the Gur Shul at 1193 County Line Road, the temporary home to the Kollel. At Shachris this morning, R’ Kalman Fishman, who donated the Sefer Torah in memory of his father Chaim Reuven Ben Shmuel Z’L, got an Aliyah at the Torah for the first time.
The Kollel, who relocated to the temporary Shul following the collapse of the floor of their new building, hoped to move back in soon after the collapse, but the repairs – says the Chavrei Hakollel Dean Simcha Greenwald – will take longer than anticipated.
Following Shachris this morning, the Kollel served refreshments and wished R’ Fishman a Lechayim.

Let’s stick to the topic, Chavrei Hakollel is a great place. Beno, Chai, Yeshi & Simcha are doing wonders for these boys. And Meir Pfeffer is running the Business Vocational part out of SCHI and it is also doing great, the boys are really learning and positive all around.
the only “gur” i see in that shul is Yeshai “GurI”

It has more to do with satmar than gur.
