Jackson Police this afternoon made an arrest in connection with yesterday’s attempted bank robbery of the Santander bank, thanks to the tips from the public.
“Based on multiple tips from the public after the news release and suspect photographs were released, on Thursday March 6 at approximately 2:14 pm, Jackson Police Detectives and Patrol Officers responded to a residence on Valley Road in Jackson to attempt to locate a person who had been identified as a suspect,” police said.
The suspect was located and as the investigation continued, he was placed under arrest.
Arrested, was Ryan C. Higgins, age 40 of Jackson, New Jersey.
Mr. Higgins was charged with criminal attempt robbery. Bail was set at $100,000.00/full. He will be processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
The investigation was conducted by Detectives Robert Reiff, Edward Howe and Scott Conover. Police Officers Sean Greenberger and Benedetto Ravaioli assisted with the arrest. [TLS]
