The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) will be holding a Public Meeting in Lakewood to discuss the US 9 Corridor Study.
The Open House will be on September 28, 2016 from 1:00pm-2:30pm & 4:30pm-8:30pm, at the Lakewood Municipal Building.
The public is invited to attend.
As earlier reported, a similar meeting was held in Toms River.
Thisbis the second such meeting for Lakewood.

Stop the building is the first step…
Bla, Bla, Bla…… 40 years of talk and nothing to show for it!!!!
You want RT9 fixed now it will cost you. The Democrats will want the Gas Tax with no give back, or borrow a lot of money to “fix” RT9. They will claim they can’t do anything that there is no money in the TTF to pay for it.
לא המדרש העיקר, אלא המעשה.
Meeting postponed due to indegestion from swallowing volumes of hot air, and congestion.
Please don’t make me laugh
it’s simple. they were alloted some money to do ‘studys’ that money needs to be spent.
Let’s have a public meeting to end the building in Lakewood.
Also we NEED a “thru-way” sistem where ALL streets go threw, enough with all these cul-de-sacks and dead end streets.
A light rail along the rt 9 corridor is a brilliant idea. Very expensive investment – perhaps a private venture with state/county/township approvals.
Then transfers to public busing cross town from strategic stops.
Brilliant!
pave vine street!!
#10 is correct! Need more North-South Options; Maybe a bridge over the lake…..
