The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office is holding a Public Safety Telecommunicator Course.

The Basic Telecommunicator, CPR, and Emergency Medical Dispatch course will start on November 5th, 2023 and end on November 30th, 2023. If successfully completed, these classes provide one with the certifications needed to apply for a 911 Pubic Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher.

The cost of the course will be $125. Seating is limited to the first 30 students. The closing date for registering is November 3rd, 2023 or when the class is full.

Anyone offered employment by the county to work at the 911 center may apply to be reimbursed this course fee.
