Chai Lifeline Lakewood will be presenting the community service award at their annual reception tonight, to Dr. Zelig Tochner, Medical Director and Professor of Radiation Technology in CHOP and HUP. Dr. Tochner is world-renowned for pioneering the use of Proton Radiation for cancer treatment, having built a quarter billion dollar Proton Radiation Machine in CHOP, one of three that exist in the United States and the biggest in the world.

The program will also feature a father’s personal story by Rabbi Shimon Landsberg.

Now in its thirteenth year, Chai Lifeline Lakewood invites the Lakewood community to attend the reception at Bais Faiga tonight, to show their support for Chai Lifeline staff, volunteers, and especially for the hundreds of families that receive Chai Lifeline services throughout the year.

The recption begins at 9PM.
