The next fifteen applicants to register for Camp Emes Yerushalayim this coming summer will receive $1,000 towards their flight to Eretz Yisrael. Camp director, Rabbi Elly Merenstein, revealed to The Lakewood Scoop that a private benefactor, who wishes to remain anonymous, approached Camp Emes Yerushalayim to see how he could play a part in bringing American High School Yeshiva boys to Eretz Yisrael for the summer. “I was blown away” explains Reb Elly, “by the importance and sincerity this benefactor displayed towards camp in Eretz Yisrael. Having heard about Camp Emes and its achievements, he contacted us with the desire to provide the opportunity for American campers to experience the powerful and life altering Ruach of camp in Artzeinu HaKedosha. He rightly felt that such a blend will significantly impact each camper’s emotional and spiritual experience”.
Camp Emes, now in its fifth year, has become recognized as the means of Torah-dika camping in Eretz Yisrael. “Designed for today’s Yeshiva student, Camp Emes not only infuses Torah learning and unforgettable experiences but also offers the opportunity to experience Eretz Yisrael like it’s never been experienced before”.
“I am just grateful and delighted that we’re able to offer this opportunity to so many who may have dismissed Eretz Yisrael camping because of its financial implications” says Nachie Danziger, Camp Emes’ financial representative and popular staff member. “Now for a price similar to most summer camps in America your children can benefit from the beauty and spiritual richness permeating Artzeinu HaKedosha.”
The Camp administration will be visiting Lakewood and invite those interested in learning about Camp Emes to a Melava Malka/ Kumzits hosted by Rabbi and Mrs. Abraham Danziger at 40 Caranetta Drive.
For more information call the camp office at 1-718-713-8453 or visit them online at: www.campemes.com.
Rabbi Merenstein is the most geshmake guy around. A real Ben Torah!
I’m sure any parent would consult with their sons rosh yeshiva or rebbi b4 sending their son anywere…
Hey Tyrone,
I’m sure you consulted your rebbe or rosh yeshiva before blogging all day. You are pathetic at best. Get a real job, and stop worrying about everyone else.
Wow. Total waste of money. In my humble opinion the ”benefactor” should help people pay their tuitions not on excess luxuries.
I am sure my son is having a great year now because he was in Camp Emes this past Summer
Before anyone comments they should know who they are talking about
I cant think of anything more pathetic than one blogger telling the next to stop blogging,,
Don’t you love it when people tell you how to spend your hard earned money? Would you like the benefactor to tell you not to buy shoes for yom tov and to give the money towards peoples tuition?
You seem really jealous of this benefactor. Go to work and earn some money. When you are finished paying ALL your bills, then YOU can decide what YOU want to do with the excess. Until then, just be happy with what you have, and balance your own check book. Trust me, this benefactor didn’t get wealthy from listening to such precious advice, such as yours.
Get off the programs and see the light.
Have Emunah, you can do it.
Eli you are the best!!!! Much Hatzlacha!!!
To miss informed: If spending a summer in a Torah environment in Eretz Yisrael away from the dangers of the summer (yes, even in Lakewood) being exposed to our Gedolei Eretz Yisrael, is simply an excess luxury, then I suppose it would not be the right choice for your son. However, to everyone else who doesn’t see things in this very narrow minded view, I can tell you that I have personally seen kids lives change for the better from this experience. I do believe your name “Miss informed” is quite apropos (that means appropriate).
BTW, you can click on the ad posted here on the Lakewood Scoop and see a vidio of the camp. Thank you Lakewood Scoop for posting!
