I am so glad to hear this news. I have been without plastic straws for some time now and was starting to lose hope. I will be doing some shopping Sunday morning and plastic straws will be first on my list
Doesn’t federal law override state law?
When it comes to plastic straw federal laws and state laws have no say. TNSC (The national straw commission) is in charge. The state created this law without permission and is being sued by the TNSC. That’s why they are not banned anymore. TNPBC (The national plastic bad commission) is next in line. Plastic bags are coming back as well. This is great news.
