President Obama to Visit Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst Monday

christie-obama-tourOn Monday, December 15, the President will travel to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey to deliver remarks expressing his gratitude for the service and sacrifice of our troops and their families.

The arrival and departure of Air Force One, as well as the President’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media, but closed to the public. The President’s remarks will be streamed live at www.whitehouse.gov/live.

  1. When told that Lakehurst Naval Station is where the Hindenburg Disaster happened, Obama replied, “If I Had a Derrigable it would look like that” !!!

  2. Everything around JB-MDL will be affected..but The President is not scheduled to be going off base at any point..He will travel between bases on their roads..Should not be outside the JB MDL for any period of time..but anyone on base should be aware of road closures and detours for security reasons …but this may change like the weather
