  1. Its a great idea in theory . I heard that lasst year ,those parents that were naive enough to wait until RC Shvat to call the playgroups, were basically told that all the playgroups are full . True registration ,”technically” did not “officially ” take place prior to that date ,but somehow everybody knew exactly where they were sending and the registration was just a formality . There has to be a system where the “tmimusdike ” mother who really waits until Shvat ,really has the same chance as everybody else .

  2. Who are they to dictate to us when we can take regis.? Last year the days you had to call had specific hours that were NOT fine with me. Did anyone ask the morahs when is a good time for phone calls? If a child has to be held back for whatever reason, it is not even so clear by tu b’shvat. Sometimes, it’s the group itself that is so wrong for the child but the parent only thinks about what is convenient for them. The WHOLE school system needs a change!!!

  3. Why does everything in lakewood have to ba an issue? The entire world somehow manages to figure it out without arranging a meeting with someone that def. has more pressing issues to deal with.

  4. Anonymous Morah,
Please don’t teach my child if you have the internet in your house. It’s the same “they” that decided when registration should take place that also decided to ban the internet from Lakewood homes. So seemingly, your contempt for “they” is not only on the registration issue.
