Yeah, why is there seemingly nothing to motivate or penalize them for the failures besides says whoops and sending trucks to repair?

JCP&L Accuses Customers of Being “Power Hungry”
JCP&L issued a statement on Sunday accusing customers who’ve been complaining about a lack of power in their homes of being “power hungry.”
“These greedy, power hungry customers will stop at nothing to acquire more power and more control for themselves,” JCP&L said in the statement. “It is high time that we take back the power from these authoritarian customers permanently!”
However, a spokesman for the customers issued a statement in response to the electric utility company saying, “How did JCP&L suddenly become the new power brokers in NJ who determine who is, or who isn’t worthy of acquiring more power?! As TLS commenter, John Lennon rightfully proclaimed, “We want power to the people! Power to the people. Right on!”
“Ultimately,” the statement concluded, “the power belongs to the people and to the customers, and not to the self-proclaimed power brokers at JCP&L!”

Really, it’s not the power company, it’s the rate of growth. Less people more power. 20 years ago, power outages were far and few between, what has happened? I don’t know I been here since 1950 how about the other 90,000 new commers. BINGO

The problem isn’t the newcommers. Just the concept of not requiring infrastructure to match the population growth. It’s the only localle in any civilized region that doesn’t first build infarstructure, and then do construction.
