PHOTOS: [UPDATED] Parts of West Gate are experiencing power outages this evening. The power was reportedly knocked out at about 3:30 PM Shabbos afternoon. According to JCP&L, under 500 residents are currently without power.
The National Weather Service has a wind advisory in effect until 10PM.
Chaveirim responded to West Gate with their new Light Tower and with multiple generators for those affected.
A Chaveirim member says according to a JCP&L employee the electric is expected to restored by about 12:00 AM.

Has JCPL said when the electric will be on again??
jcpl said they hope to have it restored between 9-10 pm.
Fellow bloggers: is it my imagination or does it seem like every other week we have been having extremely windy weather especially over the weekend? Is this normal for the winter? Today seemed like Irene but without the rain! Shiver me timbers!

all of high point and wyndam place lost power a week ago for a day… where were the light towers there?
