A major winter storm could hit New Jersey late Friday through Motei Shabbos.
The National Weather Service is calling it a “major winter storm…with high confidence in its occurrence but lower confidence in the details.”
There’s potential for significant snow accumulations, especially inland from the coast. Snow could start late Friday and should mix with or change to rain or sleet Saturday morning, especially along the coast. Any sleet or rain should change back to snow Saturday afternoon.
The potential exists also for strong winds of 60 mph gusts.

Please help out the Lakewood Public Works Department get the roads clear this weekend. Most of the snow will be on Friday night and Saturday. PLEASE – park your cars OFF the roads on Friday before Shabbos. This will greatly help as the plows won’t have to go around cars and you won’t complain of bad plowing.
Melva Malka for Kollel Bnei Torah (Somerset Ave) scheduled for the Motzeo Shabbos is being postponed for two weeks.
Don’t believe them. We all remember “superstorm” Juno from last year. Why do weather people lie as if they were politicians?
I agree with #1, We MUST ask everyone in this town (especially Development Residence) to PLEASE park their cars in a driveway or in a parking lot, it makes it so much easier for everyone to have the roads plowed properly.
Spread the word!!
