  1. I stopped voting about three years ago. I felt that the interests of the average working guy are not even on the radar screen of the candid ates and those that endorse them

  2. People in China recently died for the rights to vote. Vote for a candidate, vote for yourself or vote for your bubby. But vote. It is a privilege that we should not take for granted.
As an aside, a big problem for me in local elections, is that I have no idea what the real views of each candidate are. Unlike a national election, where there are public debates and extensive campaigning, local candidates are limited to short interviews, annoying robo calls and some mailings. They all say the same thing. “Me=good”. “Opponent=the devil. ” I voted but I really don’t know if I voted for my best interests. I am sure that this is the main reason for consistent low turnouts.

  3. Pretty silly not to vote. Not voting is coping out. Voting is a right that should be excersized. Dont complain about your property taxes, or the current fiscal and political atmosphere if you dont even vote!

  4. This town has soooo confused us with all the conflicting phone calls and ads out there! With no achdus, we don’t get anywhere. I didn’t vote because I’m totally confused!!

  5. #6 is definitely American, cant spell to save his life 🙂 That’s the problem nowadays…. guys who cant even spell are expected to pick who will run this country. Rite 🙂 ?
