I don’t think it ‘will kill Christie’s shot at the White House’ (using your quote) because I don’t he ever had a real chance to win.

No because his chances are already dead

He never had a shot. In order to win in the general election we need a real conservitive not a liberal pretending to be conservitive. Everyone always says we need a moderate to appeal to a broader spectrum… Let’s look at the last couple of republican “moderates” Romney, McCain, Dole, (George H. W. Bush who only won bc people voted for a 3rd Regan term. And then he lost reelection because he’s a “moderate”.) I say GO TED CRUZ! The media writes him off as unable to win because he’s “too extreme and not moderate” enough…” They said the same about Ronald Regan when he was runing in the primary against Bush… Let’s learn from History! If we elect a real candidate with true conviction he will have a chance to beat Hillary.

And Goerge W. Bush was somewhere in between which is why he hardly won. Romney was a little more conservitive than McCain which is why he did better than McCain in the general election actually making history by making Obama the first president ever to win reelection by a smaller margin than originally elected. Don’t get me wrong Romney was no conservitive just not as liberal as McCain. If Christie or Jeb Bush won’t the nomination Hillary will be the next President! If a real and true conservitive who can articulate his message like Ted Cruz and some others them they have a fighting chance.
