2. We may feel good voting for Trump, but sechel tells us that someone who won’t listen to experts, who lies and cheerleads instead of actually calmly running the country, is a massive danger.

   Take this coronavirus. If Trump would have shown clear leadership from the beginning, taking multiple steps to prevent the proliferation of this virus, the country would not have panicked. We could have prevented the lockdown, the disastrous economic downturn, the mass unemployment, deaths and illness. If, in December, he would have encouraged increased PPE manufacturing, we would have required no more than a mask mandate, with no school closures.

   Right now, Biden-Harris is the only choice.

     He denied that there was any issue, calling Trump xenophobic for shutting trael from China.

     Nancy Pelosi said we should dance in the streets of China town (Manhattan) at the time.

     They took away access to Hydroxycloroquin after it was approved for emergency use for political purposes, killing untold numbers of people!

     They sent covid patients straight into nursing homes.

     Trump sent them a military hospital ship. They chose to stuff the hospitals & kill patients rather than use it – because he is from the other party.

     • An answer to me – People repeat the canard that Trump shut down travel from China and Biden was against it. The truth is, 1) Trump never shut down travel from China, 2) Biden did not do anything against the ban on Chinese citizens traveling from China, and 3) experts at the time warned that the virus was going to come from Europe, not China, as it did eventually.

       But the truth is, only a small minded fool would think that one individual action is sufficient to stop the virus. And Trump is that fool, who does not appreciate nuance, detail and hard work. Which is why literally any other candidate would not have done what he did, they would have had a task force in place before a single case had reached America.

       Your other claims are too ludicrous to address. But the claim about HCG is constantly repeated by people with myopic vision. The right politicized HCG just like some on the left did. The difference is, on the right it was the president, on the left it was a few individuals. The Medical profession almost totally kept out of the politics and gave its medical opinion. You are welcome to follow a small town doctor with no background in research and a strong political position. Others may wish to follow doctors with actual credentials in research, with no political visions.

     Many people decide their vote on gut instinct. Trump did something nice for Yidden, and that is enough for them. Calm, thought out decisions are not even expected over here.

     If we slow down and think deeply about the long-term effects of a vote for Trump, how this country is degenerating into a kindergarten with sound byte politics replacing real policies, we will know that Biden-Harris is the only practical ticket.
     Maybe in the next election we will have a choice between a Conservative candidate and a Liberal one, and then we can discuss which method is best. But now it is between chaos and leadership, nothing else.
     Let us understand the dangers of chaos and keep far away from disruption candidates.

   • Usually one aspect should be insufficient. But this aspect permeates the entire Trump presidency, persona and decision making process.
     Chaos is bad for everyone. And the history of all non-chaotic presidents, Republican and Democrat alike, is that they can make decisions according to the experts, or even better, leave the issue to the experts, The government has experts with experience in dealing with issues before you even notice them. Which is why you don’t hear of them. Building codes mean that earthquakes are not as devastating here as they are in other countries. Those are made by governments. Food and car safety are other examples.
     If anyone else but Trump would have been President, as soon as the coronavirus was seen on the horizon, a plan would have been made. Because they weren’t micro-managers and the people in place would have done their jobs.

     Chaos is a single issue that stops government efficiency in all areas.

     And yes, the socialization of healthcare was just what we needed in this pandemic, Now everyone should realize that the public’s health is the public’s business, it is not a private affair. And we should act accordingly. If America’s life expectancy was so much higher than that of countries with socialized healthcare, you would have some kind of a point. But it isn’t and you don’t.

      Taking a pandemic threat seriously is not liberal, and downplaying the facts is not conservative.
