What I don’t understand is…winning this contest was supposed to be based on originality, creativity, and like they they wrote extra points for extra details….seems to me that winning is based on how many ppl you know…

I think they’re getting a lot of publicity…and that’s what they really wanted…don’t think they care who wins…
Let’s remember there are some children that worked really hard on this…the temperature was really cold… Working with the snow was hard…and from these pics we definitely see originality and creativity… I think these finalists all deserve to be winners.
Agree. And I think that snowman 3 has waaaay more creativity and is much better then snowman 2, even tho it’s not winning (bec of course they didn’t ask as many ppl to vote for them)
I don’t understand how people can cheat. It is against Halacha and unethical. Please contact The lakewood Scoop and come clean.
yup… We’re teaching these kids what lakewoods about… Not who you are.. But whom you know! Connections and “pull” is only way to survive and get in to school…

Obviously, it’s not a level playing field. Aside from the fact that many of us do not have internet access, I would ask – what is stopping the same person from voting again and again? What bothers me most is that we spent a lot of time and invested much creativity, for what? The fair way would be a human judge (by the way, we did #3)
Snowman #1 had a bored friend to sit there and vote a million times. Snowman #2 has votes from friends and family! Go snowman #2!!!!
snowman #1 is definitly the most creative by far!!!and they have tons of family and friends rooting for them!!!!!!
