can TLS please explain to everyone what the red light program is. Perhaps then you will get more votes & see an honest poll of what people would vote for
They completely stopped the program in Brick last year.
It is simply a method to collect revenue disguised as a way to reduce accidents.
In many cases people slammed on their brakes when the light was changing and got rear ended causing increased accidents.
Safety is more important than people getting their morning coffee and bagel fast, we need more enforcement not less.
Red light program was a five year mandatory program that had something like 70 red light cameras in something like 24 NJ municipalities. It ended this December. Lakewood was not one of the municipalities that participated. Basically TLS wants to know if people like getting tickets or perhaps you never go through a red light but enjoy watching other people get tickets?
