  1. It’s very unfortunate that they didn’t give him the 5.6 billion to begin with,Remember these same people that are withholding the 5.6 Billion for the wall had no problem shipping 150 Billion Dollars in cash on pallets to Iran which is being used today to fund terrorism across the world

  2. People who say no are concerned that it will set a precedent. It appears to me that him just talking about it has already set the precedent. He might as well do it already.

  3. As a conservative, as much as this great country needs a barrier on our entire southern border, its a bad idea to create precedent which gives the President (of any party) so much power under the guise of National Emergency.

  4. As a big supporter of TLS
how do we know that all poles are correct? And that no one is voting twice? Maybe from a different computer. Would love an answer

    Thank you

  5. This whole wall thing is unfortunately nonsense. Trump backed himself into an unenviable position. Tunnels have been dug and will be dug miles into the United States. Drug cartels have billions on the line. They will build tunnels easily. Then it’s additional cash for them to charge a toll for illegal immigrants. It’s a waste of time and money. There are better ways. Fine those who employ illegals. Deport illegals to Antarctica, etc….

  6. I’m not worried about setting a precedent. As we saw with Obama – he set every precedent he felt like setting regardless of what Republicans have done in the past. I don’t believe that Republicans being whimps prevents Dems from doing outrageous things. (they were the ones that ‘nuked’ congress for BO’s healthcare law)

Do what’s best for the country. Build the wall – before more people die

  7. It’s very upsetting that Congress did not give Trump all the funds we need to build a wall, but that’s all it is, upsetting. It’s not an emergency. This would be an abuse of the president’s power even if we want that wall.

  8. @Chaim

I personally don’t have the time to waste to log in on another computer and vote again. No one is saying “the TLS poll is the deciding factor of who gets voted in to the Board of Ed next term” or “if we get 100 yes votes, the town will _____”. This is simply an opinion. Anyone who votes multiple times is only hurting themselves by wasting time instead of doing something productive.

  9. People seem to be ignorant about what a declaration of a national emergency does, all it does is allow the President to appropriate money that wasn’t appropriated by Congress for said emergency. It does not give the President dictatorial powers to ban anything or force Americans to do anything, so anyone saying that a future Democrat president will be able to use these emergency powers to ban guns or coal or implement any other socialist fantasy, is either ignorant or lying.
