Poll: Should President Trump be impeached?

On Wednesday, the Democrat-led House of Representatives will hold a vote on two articles of impeachment against President Trump – abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Democrats allege that President Trump abused his power by trying to coerce Ukraine into investigating Joe Biden, who will likely be his opponent in the 2020 presidential election. They also say that Trump obstructed Congress by blocking several officials from testifying in the impeachment inquiry conducted by the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees.

Republicans say that President Trump did nothing wrong and that there were legitimate reasons to ask Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, over shady business dealings in the country. They also say that no evidence exists to show that Trump withheld financial aide to Ukraine until they announced an investigation into Biden.
