  1. If you voted yes, please tell me who you are so I make sure I am not on the road the same time as you. It is ILLEGAL to text and drive, besides being dangerous

    • No, we don’t all do it. You are putting me and my children at risk every time you pick up your phone and text instead of watching the road. There are two kinds of people in the world – those who don’t text and drive, and idiots.

  2. @Bubbie – my name is Adrian Bernell and I text and drive. Not very often but it does happen. I’m not on the road now so go ahead and do ur errands now.
    Have a great day !!

    • If you think you are funny, you’re not. If you or your loved ones was in an accident and badly injured or worse case scenario killed would you still be so pompous.

  3. I hereby testify that my wife does NOT text and drive NOR talk and drive. She has total control over herself in this. May this be a zchus for her to go directly to Gan Aiden after 120 years!

  4. @saying how it is: thats not true at all. i do not text and drive it is completely dangerous and i do not do it and i do not lie about it. just cause u do something wrong dont go say we all do it- cause we dont all do it.

  5. To: Saying how it is – I suppose you’re a liar and you text when you drive – I wouldn’t want to be on the road when you drive either. Why text when you can use Bluetooth and have a conversation with so.eone in a much safer way?

  6. And you wonder why Lakewood driving is so bad. To have over 250 people admit to actually texting and driving is outrageous!! How many more people text and drive and don’t admit to it?? Why don’t people realize that this is proven to be such a dangerous behavior?? You are not only putting your life on the line but everyone’s around you as well!!

  7. On an average day, I drive between 2-5 hrs.

While I commend anyone who doesn’t text and drive, I doubt if most drive nearly as much and are still able to have the luxury of not needing to text.

  8. It is scary that so many people admit to texting while driving
They have no problem putting themselves, their passengers, other cars and their passengers, and people walking on the street in danger.
Hashem yerachem. What has happened to us? Life is worthless?

  9. I don’t text & drive. But I know that the driver in front of me who didn’t move when the light turned green thereby making me miss the green light, while he rushed through at the last minute to make the light, was busy texting instead of having his eyes in the road. EVEN WHEN ITS NOT DANGEROUS ITS INCONVENIENT FOR THOSE AROUND YOU IF YOUR EYES ARE OFF THE ROAD FOR ANY REASON.

  10. I only text while waiting for traffic lights- so the worst that can happen is someone has to honk because I didn’t notice the light turn green.

Not proud of this. Just saying there are degrees..

  11. I grew up knowing you wait politely when the light turns green and the cars in front of you don’t go right away. Now I just honk if traffic doesn’t move after the light changes because it’s almost always people texting or talking on the phone and from what I see from driving around at least 3/4 of people text or talk and drive.

  12. Guys cmon, don’t say that everyone texts and drives and certainly don’t say that ppl who don’t admit to it are lying. There are plenty of ppl who won’t text and drive for reallll!!! And if u are STUPID enough to text and drive… g-d should just watch over u and everyone else on the roads w u… idk how u do it u obviously don’t think anything will happen to u… (we all think like that, about different situations…) but there is SOMEONE who it does happen to and that person never thought it would be them… that’s why it’s called an ACCIDENT. cuz it happens by accident… not planned… It’s just so not worth it when u actually stop to thinkkkk if it’s worth what the end result cud g-d forbid be…
