Police: Suspect May Have Exposed Himself To Children

cop_investigating_attempted_abductionsPolice are on the lookout for a man they believe exposed himself to two young children on Sunday, Detective Lieutenant Paul Daly tells TLS. As reported on Sunday, police received a call regarding a man who attempted to lure children into his vehicle on Autumn Road, while they played in front of their homes.

Police now say that there is indication that the suspect exposed himself to the two young girls, ages 8-11.

The suspect is described as a male between the ages of 20-30 with brown hair and a thin build.

The vehicle is described as a light-colored either Honda or Toyota. It’s unclear if it was a 2 or 4-door vehicle.

The CIU were reviewing video surveillance in the area, but were unable to retrieve a license plate.

Police are asking anyone with information to call police at 732-363-0200. TLS.

  1. I hate to say it but we live in a dangerous world. Parents must watch children at all times in all places. Its sad but its true. I hope they catch this guy.

  2. If they really wanted to catch the perp, instead of being P.C. they’d say what race he was. Brown hair could be anyone. Do you want to find him or not?

  3. When my kids were young, I felt so lucky that unlike my sisters, who were raising their kids in NY, I was able to send my kids outside to play without my constant supervision. My sisters in NY had to wait until they were able to go outside with them because they couldn’t let them out by themselves. Sadly for my grandchildren, we have reached that point, and have even gone past that point, here in Lakewood.

  4. this same thing happened on the other side of the lake in the summer to two 8 year old girls. The police took a report and just patroled the area for a while and nothing ever came of it. why wasn’t that news posted then to bring awareness that there’s a nut on the loose.

  5. Parents please watch your children! Unfortunately, there are a lot of perverts in this world and Lakewood is no longer immune from these terrible acts!
