Police Search For Lakewood Man Who Critically Beat Toms River Man

bat attackPolice are searching for a Lakewood man they say is responsible for the baseball bat beating of a Toms River man clinging to life in very critical condition at an area hospital, according to a report in the APP. Rameek Isaiah Peace, 22, of East Kennedy Boulevard, is wanted in connection with the beating of Samuel Legg, 25, which left him with severe trauma to the head and face.

Peace is charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses. Ocean County Superior Court Judge Stephanie M. Wauters set bail at $800,000. Read full story in APP.
