  1. It’s important to have sympathy for the robbery suspect. He probably couldn’t afford his medication. He probably lives in Tent City. Society has been very rotten to this poor chap. The pharmacy should have given him whatever he wanted for free, but they didn’t, so he had to use force. Very resonable.

    Yes, you got that right. I am saying that we have to have sympathy for the robbery suspect. Why is that different than you saying that we have to have sympathy for those who violate the law in Tent City?

    What? Are you saying that you’re the only one that is allowed to have sympathy for those who break the law? Only you are allowed to decide which law breakers get sympathy?

    What chutzpah! Humph!

  2. not everything has to do with tent city. in case you didnt notice, there is an epidemic of prescription drugs abuse throughout the nation. toms river is a haven for pill poppers- not tent city

  3. To Yid,
    Not bad nice, But i’m sorry pulling out a gun… Thats going to far, If the guy would go in and ask for medication, and saying he had no money that might have worked… And if it didn’t;
    Ask someone there for money…collect money from people;
    Don’t you agree Yid?

  4. To: Me and Me,

    See, here’s the issue. The poor residents of Tent City never asked anyone for permission before they illegally settled in Tent City. They did it through force. They just settled, and that was that. Yet, we all have sympathy for them. So why can I not have sympathy for the poor burglar who took by force what he could not get any other way.

    Sympathy is sypathy.

    I understand that you are unable to emotionally empathize with someone who pulls a gun, even when that person only wanted some money to buy dinner for his starving kids.

    Yet, you expect everyone to empathize with hundreds of residents of Tent City who have collectively, illegally, occupied a piece of land that belongs to others (the town of Lakewood), and who collectively created a very large public danger and nuisance in Lakewood.

    Why do YOU get to decide which illegal actions deserve our sympathy?

  5. The 20 year old was not stealing for money to support his starving kids. He only stole a huge quantity of controled drugs, oxys, roxys, to be sold on the street. He did not steal “medication” because he can not afford it. Only controlled street drugs. He didn’t want regular medication. Nobody gets prescribed thousands of narcotics at one time, so that theory is rediculous.
