Police On The Lookout For Man Impersonating A Police Officer Who Pulled Over EMT

Police in Lakewood and Toms River are on the lookout for a man who they say impersonated an officer in Toms River, police say. The man, described as a white male driving a black GMC equipped with lights, pulled over a driver, who happened to be an EMT. It’s unclear what ensued, but the EMS unit reportedly realized it was not a cop, and the suspect fled.

Anyone with information is asked to call Toms River or Lakewood Police. TLS-MK/TLS-CCP/TLS-TRP.

  1. Oooook anonymous why would you call Hatzolah you still call the police What is Hatzolah going to do. Pretty scary that people would rather call an ambulance service for a police matter. Where are your brains

    Now all you doubters understand why that frum woman, all alone, late at night in Squankum Rd., called Hatzoloh instead of pulling over!

    That vehicle was pulled over by a Howell Police officer. They have police cars w/o lights on their roofs..When other dept come into town they always call us to let us know they are coming..there was a local officer that got out with them. But Still Be Very careful;
