Police on the Lookout for Armed Robbery Suspect

The Howell and Lakewood Police Departments are on the lookout for an armed man who allegedly attempted to rob a shopping center in Howell at gunpoint moments ago.

Police say two black man entered the Candlewood Shopping Center shortly after 5:00 PM, and one of them showed a handgun. The men then fled southbound on Route 9 towards Lakewood.

It’s unknown if they made away with any proceeds.

Police are looking for a silver 2-door sports car with temporary license plates.
