Police: Man Says He Was Grabbed Around the Neck and Robbed

A man tells police he was grabbed around the neck and robbed on Friday night, police say. At about 10:30 pm on Friday night, Officer Jose Marrero responded to a reported robbery at the intersection of Hurley Avenue and Cedarbridge Avenue.

The victim reported that he was approached by two unidentified black males. One of the males reportedly grabbed him around the neck, while the second male took his wallet from his pocket and removed approximately $400, police say. Both suspects then fled on foot in opposite directions.
