Police Looking for Hit and Run Driver Who Left Motorcyclist Injured

PHOTO: A motorcyclist was injured this morning after being struck by a Hit and Run driver. The incident occurred at the intersection of Pine Street and New Hampshire Avenue shortly after 9 AM.

Police say a black For pickup truck struck the motorcyclist, and continued driving down New Hampshire Avenue towards Toms River.

The cyclist was thrown from his bike and suffered a leg injury, police say. He was transported to KMC by EMS.

  1. To #2, a motorcycle is to ridden on the road, there is a difference,between a bike and a motorcycle. Read the article fully before making comments. while we are on the subject of being on sidewalks why do people walk on the roads when there are sidewalks. I see this all the time,roads are for motor vehicles,sidewalks are for people.

  2. i agree lakewood resident. just because its been happening doesnt mean we shouldn’t try and stop that from happening. what if something worse had happened? please think before you comment/speak.
