The Lakewood man who died this week due to an apparent drug overdose was revived by emergency personnel once before, Police Chief Rob Lawson tells TLS.
The man, in his twenties, was found unresponsive with drug paraphernalia around him in his Kennedy Boulevard apartment on Saturday evening, and by the time emergency personnel were called it was too late to save him, the Chief says.
“It’s a real shame – he was given a second lease on life,” the Chief said.
