Multiple residents had the tires of their vehicles slashed over the weekend, sources say. Several residents in the area of Somerset Avenue alone had up to three of their tires slashed. The incidents were reported to LCSW and Police Thursday evening as well as over the weekend, LCSW confirmed.
Anyone with information, or video surveillance, is asked to phone police. TLS-CCP.
this will continue unless we all support lcsw whether we like them or not it makes no diffrence the fact is that the crime has dropped with them around as p.d cant be everywhere at one !
where did this happen?
#1, you stated: “the fact is that the crime has dropped with them around”
state your sources(“facts”)
TO #1 – BEFORE YOU MAKE FALSE CLAIMS, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
According to data universe: Total major crimes in lakewood, NJ
2009: 1,137
2010: 1,162
(cant wait to see 2011)
-you were saying?
Calling LSCW first is no way to get the people causing the problems. The police should be called first they are the ones trained to handle the crime.
#1 didnt say not to call pd first all he said is that lcsw is the watch force out there that helped lowerd crime AND THE REASON IT WENT UP THIS YEAR IS BECAUSE THEY NO LONGER HAVE THE MAN POWER AND FUNDING THEY USE TO HAVE. IF THEY WOULD GET IT BACK THE CRIME WOULD DIMINSH !
there use to be break ins everynight and that stoped once they did patrols that is a fact so i hope you all have shotguns or pitbulls with you because they no longer do patrols [ and ps hate to tell you the truth pd dont either i know this first hand as i deliver everyday from 3 am and dont see 1 patrol car on the streets until 6-6.30 am and dont tell me that everynight is another excuse etc.. ]
crime less in Lakewood ? I have to ask were do you get your information ? WRONG!
Anyone who said LCSW is not needed couldn’t be more wrOng they spot and follow guys breaking into cars and ect…. Giving the police ample time and opportunity to make the arrest that’s a valuable asset to have
how does one go about giving funds to lcsw?
you must be blind…. i deliver papers too and that is the only vehicles i see on the street. open your eyes and look around. maybe instead of delivering papers you are parked somewhere reading one.
#9 call them 732-367-1212 and they will tell you
