Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead in Lakewood this morning, TLS has learned.

Lakewood Police officers were flagged down this morning for the report of a man found deceased in the area of 3rd Street between Madison and Clifton Avenues, police told TLS.

The man was believed to be homeless.

Detectives from the Lakewood Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
