Police Investigating Attempted Home Burglary, Car Burglaries In Presidential Estates

Police are investigating after a man attempted to enter a Presidential Estates home early today, TLS has learned. At about 12:35 AM a man reportedly opened a window to the basement apartment and attempted to make entry into the home, but was scared off when he noticed the homeowners inside.

The suspect, described as a black male, fled the area.

Shortly following the attempted home burglary, police were seen investigating at least two car burglaries, neighbors say.

It’s unknown if the incidents are connected. TLS-CCP/TLS-FYR.

  1. Support Lcsw it’s because this town doesn’t support them they can’t function properly and had to lower there night patrols the police don’t usually drive through Jewish complexes, shomrim does!! And the police can’t be everywhere all at once,, use the gift of Lcsw and support your shomrim!!!!

  2. It’s not just up to LPD and LCSW. It’s also up to the homeowners (renters) too. Don’t block the view of the Windows from the road and remember to lock your car doors and ground level Windows. A vast majority of thieves only go to the open ones. Less work and less noise. And stop keeping the GPS units in your windshields. It’s a beacon telling everyone “here I am, come and get me!”

  3. Can someone please donate more patrol cars to the Lcsw , if I had the money I would do it in a heart beat, I had the privilege of meeting some members and they really do thrive on keeping Lakewood streets safe and working hand to hand with the police
