  1. It is very moving to see the unity of our community during this terrible tragedy.

Rabosai, the eyes of the world will be on our community today. Please let us make this a kidush Hashem.

May G-d comfort and watch over Chris’ loved ones.

  2. A few minutes ago, at 11:10 am, the funeral procession proceeded south on Monmouth Ave.
The Roshei Yeshiva, led by Rabbi Aryeh Malkiel Kotler shlita, stood at Eleventh St.
Along side them, lining Monmouth from 13th st until 4 th st., stood thousands from the Yeshiva community, in silent respect.
R.I.P. Officer Chris Matlosz, you will be very much missed by the entire town.

  3. Just came from Monmouth as the funeral passed by. Kiddush Hashem-thousands of yeshiva men standing at attention as the long proccession passed by.

  4. I am happy to hear that so many of our community joined. Although I am working, and am unable to take off for this, I am proud to be a part of this community.

  5. I don’t live in the US but always try to keep up with what “frum yidden” are doing there and how they’re managing in the shtetels that they built for themselves. I’m sorry to hear that you lost one of your law enforcement officers. I guess if your website devotes over one minute for a clip of police units driving down a highway that it’s very, very important to you.

  6. There were actually police officers from surrounding states as well.
Today we all stand with our fellow officers of the law. May G-D bless you all and keep you safe always and forever.
Chris Matlosz; may you rest in peace and watch over your fiancee, mother, fellow officers and all of Lakewood from the heavens. We could use a lot of divine assistance. Today is a sad day for us all. We must eradicate all the evil from within our midst once and for all.
    G-D Bless
