   To #1 Come on and get real. What municipality would divert their police force to one agenda? That would be a bit unwise, don’t you think?

   And for #2, Just perhaps these fine people are doing it for FREE? You know it’s called doing it on their own FREE Time. Did you ever think of that. However, there is also a thing called rearranging the work schedule if need be.
   I’m sure the kids had lots of fun.

    Protecting 250 children from imminent danger does indeed rank higher than routinely patrolling a development.

12. When Lakewood Cheder (who pioneered this trip, by the way) did it the first time and asked the police about it, Traffic Safety INSISTED that they escort the children to prevent anything from happening.
