  1. I hope you tell the truth this time! Steve was not the founder of the homeless, they existed by the tracks on RT 88 years back, and were dying in the snow (until he helped them)….as you all well know! Now, you are persecuting a “good Samaritan”? As if you own the land. No, God owns all the land…..you are all just “tenants” here.

  2. What your saying makes a lot of sense…

Do “good Samaritan’s” go around cutting up homeless peoples tents?

It’s not called being a “good Samaritan” when it comes at the expense of others.

These people did/do have other options. They don’t want be in a shelter… it shouldn’t be my problem.

  3. This is all a big show that the police are putting on for your benefit and many of you are falling for it. The truth is that neiher township officials nor the police can do anything about tent city. The whole matter is in the hands of the county court and a judge will make the final decision regarding tent city

  4. Oh boy they really mean business this time finally. I hear all they need is a bus to move them to the campground in Jackson, as they have vacancy and lots of room for the tents and tenants. Its about time they relocate.

  5. Gotta love our tax dollars being drained away hassling a man who found a way to house the homeless with out spending a penny of township money. Almost like they are mad they don’t get to spend our hard earned bucks.

  6. as long as the homeless aren’t committing any crimes they should be allowed to stay. it sounds strange that this man would cut up a tent.

  7. # 10 “found a way to house the homeless with out spending a penny of township money.” Wow I guess the garbage pickup, and the hundreds of calls of the last few years for police/fire/ems cost the taxpayers nothing?

  8. To #4 and #11 – u CLEARLY do not LIVE nearby. YOU be their neighbors- deal with the SIGHTS, deal with the SMELLS…. We pay tax $$ so that we don’t live in a garbage dump, and THAT is what they r making this neighborhood into…18 garbage cans lining the street, roaming CHICKENS and Roosters- the Stench from them burning who-knows-what! MOve em to your backyard Mr. #4, Let’s see how u enjoy them on your land…oh sorry, it’s not your land right, it’s G-ds.

  9. I think that they should make those homeless fellows find a place to live instead of burning d
Down the forest and cutting up each others tents why does our tax money need to go to this don’t the cops have anything better to do other than cut up each others tents
