Police Commissioner and Emergency Services liaison Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein (pictured left) tells TLS the Toms River authorities and various agencies did a tremendous job today to ease a very difficult and tragic situation.
“I want to thank the Toms River Police Department, The Sheriff’s office, the Medical Examiner’s office, Ocean County Prosecutor’s office, EMS, Monoc, Fire Department and all other agencies for their extreme caring and sensitivity, making a very sad and tragic situation a bit more bearbale for a family and a community,” Meir told TLS.
Licthenstein, a longtime Lakewood Askan and Hatzolah member, was on scene along with other Askonim, to ensure the proper Kavod was given to the Niftar, and working together with the various agencies to efficiently take care of arrangements that needed to be made.
