Police Chief Rob Lawson: I Feel Justice Was Served

Police Officers are feeling a sense of relief today and finding comfort in the fact that justice prevailed a year after the murder of their friend and co-worker. “I feel justice was served”, Police Chief Rob Lawson tells TLS after hearing about the guilty verdict. “There was overwhelming evidence”, the Chief added.

Captain Gregory Meyer, who was one of the first on scene after Matlosz was killed, says the guilty verdict brings some closure throughout the department.

“We are all very relieved and very happy with the verdict”, Captain Gregory Meyer says, “And hope this will help the entire department, family of Chris and town, have some closure now.” TLS.
