Police Chief Lawson: No Burglaries In Frum Community Over Pesach

chief_lawson_tlsWith most residents back from their Pesach vacation, Police Chief Rob Lawson tells TLS he’s very pleased to say there were no burglaries reported in the Frum community over Pesach. Lawson mainly attributes the unusual statistics to more awareness, which included safety messages online and via home phone messages.

Prior to Pesach however, there were numerous burglaries to residences and vehicles in Sterling Forest and neighboring developments, as earlier reported.

TLS has learned as well, that over Yom Tov Chief Lawson made the effort to drive around the Frum communities offering residents his assistance for any Yom Tov-related services, while keeping an eye on homes and businesses.

  1. It seems to be all about the chief. Funny…I worked all week long and didnt see the Chief anywhere. Maybe the rest of the PD should get just a bit of credit.

  2. Pesach is Leil shimurim. Thank you chief lawson for being the shliach. Its beautiful to see a person with such a high position being so sensitive to the cultural needs of the community. May we all learn from the chief to respect and be sensitive to the needs of all people no matter what it may be.

  3. Chief, this town loves you. It was good to shmooz with you and the mayor in the BMG parking lot during sreifas chometz. I actually saw the chief driving around on Yom Tov and he waved to us like he always does, so not sure what some posters are trying to suggest.

  4. Would have been nice for the chief to give a little credit to his guys on the road. You know, the ones who “make the effort” to drive around ALL the neighborhoods. EVERY day.

Thank you LPD. All of you!

  5. I personally saw a Police Woman patrolling in the Ridge area at 1am the fisrt night of the seder and The Chief himself was driving around in the same neighborhood on 2nd day Yom Tov.

    Well Done!
