His vehicle was located inside the Leisure Village

Hmmm seems kind of light….involuntary or vehicular manslaughter maybe? Assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and death? Unless he is cooperating and turned himself in, throw the book at him. Only thinking as if this was my grandmother.
BDE – I will say an extra tehillim for her today. I hope she rests in peace and her family is able to make it through this horrible time.
What a “low life.” His family must be so proud. Suspended license???
What about leaving the scene of accident, that is a serious one
How do you get a suspended lisense at the young age of 25 ?!?!?!
I don’t even know him and he already sounds like an animal and now this he runs over and kills an elderly woman in the village then flees the scene !!!!! I’m outraged throw the book at this (moderated) !!!!!!!!
He probably had a suspended license the same way that illegal had one the other day by that hugh accident.
Where’s all the comments from the guys “he’s really a great guy” “he has a clean record”. “It wasn’t his fault” get my point ? LOCK THESE GUYS UP
Just another day of diving in Lakewood…
There can be no leniency on someone that runs over another person, and flees the scene, leaving her to die alone.
This insensitive and depraved person must not be permitted to drive. It is my hope that he is incarcerated, and made to serve many years in prison to atone for this grievous sin that he has committed.
I would be willing to bet that he was impaired or otherwise distracted at the time of the crime.
Did anyone notice that it was NOT a Lakewood resident? So far all of you who bash the Lakewood drivers (who do need to learn the rules of the road…) This was from Lakehurst.
#10 B”H it wasn’t a Lakewood driver (this time ) Get real ! Too many drivers on phones and texting. Too many drivers only worried about themselves. Too many fail to stop at stop signs . Get the picture ?
I’m glad that this person is incarcerated for what he did. He ran over my friend and left her to die. I heard that he had someone else in the vehicle and was distracted by trying to pick up something that was dropped on the floor. For something that could have waited for until he stopped, my friend is gone. I will miss her and I pray that she rests in peace. Sympathy to her family.
