Police Arrest Drunk Driver Who Fled Scene Of 2 Accidents

PHOTO: A driver who struck two vehicles and fled, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, witnesses tell TLS. At about 2 PM, the drunk driver struck a van on County Line Road near Apple Street, and sped off.

A man who witnessed the accident phoned police while following the drunk driver.

As the drunk driver continued driving, he struck a Hatzolah members’s vehicle as well.

Moments later, the driver pulled over in front of YTT on East End Avenue, and began walking away from his vehicle.

Police arrived minutes later and took the suspect into custody for DWI and leaving the scenes of two accidents.

Nobody was seriously injured in the accidents. TLS-HSM.
