Pizza Shop Employee Airlifted to Hospital with Severe Burns

child burn medevacA local pizza shop employee was airlifted to the hospital this morning after being severely burned at the shop, police say. The 32 year old victim was reportedly burned from hot water and oil at the Lakewood shop about 11 AM. The extent of the burns were not immediately available.

Hatzolah Paramedics treated the patient at the store, and then transported him to the Jackson Liberty High School where a helicopter transported him to the Livingston, New Jersey Burn Center.

Police are investigating the incident.
