A wheelchair-bound patient was among several passengers who managed to escape a burning van this afternoon in Lakewood, officials say.
The fire broke out in the van around 3:30 PM on Route 88.
When police first received the call, it was reported a person was trapped inside, but upon arrival, all parties had been safely removed.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
