PHOTOS: US Marshals, State Police conduct investigation in Lakewood

A team of US Marshals and New Jersey State Police were in Lakewood this morning conducting an investigation.

The agencies were seen approximately 7:00 AM in the area of John Street.

Lakewood police say they were not made aware of this investigation.

We have not yet heard back from the US Marshal’s office or NJSP.

This seems troubling that they did not alert our police that they were doing this. Are they required to do so?

Both have jurisdiction. NJSP=All of NJ. US Marshslls= broadest arrest jurisdiction in the country. Lakewood= part of NJ which is still part of the USA. Would it have been nice to let LPD know, sure…but they didn’t have to.

How come there are no US marshals at Pennsylvanian Avenue in Washington DC investigating Biden’s corrupt deals with Ukraine? If that doesn’t warrant an investigation, then nothing warrants an investigation.
