This is pure common sense, you do not have to be a scientific genius.
The cars, vans, SUV, all the cars today (95% of all the cars) weigh very little. They are plastic and fiberglass.
If you go a drop too fast on a turn-Bingo-the car will definitely turn over.
This is like the rule of “gravity”.

Absolutely wrong. Common cars in Lakewood comparing curb weight when introduced and 2022 model.

2022 Honda Odyssey 4400lbs
1995 Honda Odyssey 3500lbs
2022 Toyota Sienna 4600lbs
1998 Toyota Sienna 4000lbs
2022 Toyota Camry 3430lbs
1991 Toyota Camry 2910lbs

Weight increase = increased kinetic energy, combine that with with higher center of gravity….. rollover.

until chas vesholom the car is totaled and there are doctor bills to pay…
An ounce of prevention, or $100 ticket, is worth a pound of cure, or many thousands of dollars (or worse r”l).

And the higher insurance rates in Lakewood leave us with a lot less for Yom Tov.
For Everyone.

V’Nishmartem m’od l’nafosheichim is a mitzva min haTorah. Seems to have been forgotten by many…..

Once again no one is looking at the obvious cause. In the past 5 or 6 years the huge unchecked population growth in Lakewood will continue to cause more and more accidents. Route 70, in particular, has become an adventure in reckless driving. The huge multi-family complexes that line the highway will continue to be the major cause of traffic problems, accidents and deaths. I guess the political overdevelopment of Lakewood has been bought and sold.

East 7th has those unpainted, unmarked speed bumps in that stretch. They may have popped a wheelie !
