PHOTOS: Thunderstorm Causes Heavy Flooding, Takes Down Trees

Some areas around town are heavily flooded this evening due to the strong thunderstorm.

The National Weather Service has issued an alert warning of strong winds gusts, pea-sized hail and frequent lightning as a result of the storm.

The heat wave is also expected to break with this storm, and temperatures are expected to drop to around 66 tonight. Temperatures for the rest of the week will remain in the mid to low 80s, according to the National Weather Service.

Goes to show that out infrastructure is messed up. This town allowed too much building to quick. They didn’t let the town, county, state public works to catch up with the growth.
