PHOTOS of this morning’s Tefillin Awareness “Hanacha K’Halacha” Event which took place at Sterling Forest- in both shuls. Over 300 people, including the Rov – attended the event. The purpose of the event was to give people the opportunity to meet with Sofrim Mumchim to ensure they are wearing their Tefillin properly, correcting Tefillin placement (on both Shel Rosh & Shel Yad), they also inspected and blackened retzuos, checked batim, adjusted kesharim and advised on other issues relating to Tefillin, all free of charge. (For more information, or to arrange this project in your shul or yeshiva, contact Avrohom Schachter at 718-377-6735 or email: [email protected])
