Galus, I live in E”Y but it’s still galus there, with anti-Semitism galore. We live there in very close proximity to Arabs who would be only to happy to achieve Hiltler ym”sh’s dream, not to speak of Russian goyim and “asylum seekers” who don’t exactly love us. So if someone can make it in E”Y and the price that they pay is giving up some comfort, then, by all means – there’s nothing like it. I thank Hashem for having given me the zechus. But some can’t, such as reasons of parnassa, caring for elderly parents, children old enough to be putting them at risk by relocating at a sensitive time in their lives, and so on. Living outside of E”Y is not the core problem of anti-Semitism and moving the Artzeinu Hakedosha is not the answer. The real and only solution is teshuva. Our aveiros are the cause both in Israel and chutz la’aretz and the solution is ending the galus with the coming of Moshiach that can be hastened only through teshuva. Every swastika we find sends that message – Do teshuva! Do teshuva and end the need of these warnings!
