PHOTOS: Senator Singer and Assemblyman McGuckin Plant Tree in Israel to Honor Victims of October 7 Terror Attack

Senator Robert Singer and Assemblyman Gregory McGuckin today took part in a moving ceremony this week in Ofikam Park, located just 20 kilometers from the Gaza border, where they planted a tree in memory of the victims of the October 7, 2023 terrorist attack.

The lawmakers, who are currently visiting Israel, also spent time with residents of Naval Oz, a kibbutz on the Gaza border that was devastated during the attack. The small community tragically lost 16 of its members, while eight others were taken hostage.

Singer and McGuckin said their visit was meant to show solidarity with the people of Southern Israel, who continue to live under the shadow of terror, and to honor the memory of those who were murdered.
