Lakewood-based Roth & Co. held a special lunch at their Lakewood and Brooklyn offices to re-establish their Adopt a Kollel partnership in memory of their former employee Malky Weisz A”H, and husband Benny Z”L who perished in the Surfside building collapse.
In an effort to keep the memories of Malky and Benny Weisz alive, and to provide members of the community an opportunity to participate, Roth & Co. has opened their Adopt a Kollel fund to the public.
Malkie (Rosenberg) Weisz and her husband Benny were tragically lost in the collapse of the Champlain Towers in Surfside, Florida.
By opening the fund to the public, the community at large is now able to join Malky’s teammates to partner with Adopt a Kollel – which they have undertaken to support the Kollel Bais Medrash Taharos, established in the memory of HaGaon HaRav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, and led by Rav Moshe Shapira.
The 190-person Kollel will now be dedicating their learning in memory of the Lakewood couple.
Roth & Co has committed to match all team member funds donated to the memory of the young couple who built their short lives exclusively around Torah values.
“Even the most minimal monthly donation is valued,” says Zevy Adler, a supervisor at Roth & Co, and the one who started the Zichron Malka fund in the couple’s Zchus. “No matter if it’s $5 or $500, it will serve as a zchus for Malkie and Benny. “Partnering with Roth & Co and Adopt A Kollel means that because of you and me, every day Torah will be learned in Malky and Benny’s Zechus.”
